We are excited to announce that College Bound, Career Ready along with Club Z! Tutoring of Northborough, will be hosting a FREE Road to College Webinar on Wednesday, May 25th at 7:00 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend, but the information will be geared toward parents of students in 8th-11th grade.
During this webinar, we will offer insight into the most important components of the college application process including student grades/transcripts, SAT/ACT testing, personal essay, extracurriculars, and recommendations. We will highlight the most important parts of each of these elements as well as talk about the most common roadblocks that parents and students hit along the way and how to avoid them.

Kim Haven, M. Ed.
Kim is the owner of Club Z! Tutoring of Northborough where she works with families to provide one-on-one customized support for students in their academic classes and SAT/ACT Prep. Prior to opening Club Z!, Kim spent more than 20 years in public education where she served as a High School Math Teacher and Team Leader. Through her extensive work in curriculum creation and assessment, she is intimately familiar with the MA K-12 frameworks, curriculum, and testing requirements. In addition, she spent several years teaching SAT Prep classes and worked to create an SAT/ACT Prep Program for the high school where she taught. Kim is currently licensed as a Teacher of Mathematics (9-12) and as a Principal/Assistant Principal (9-12).
Sarah Cook, M.S. Ed
Sarah is the owner of College Bound Career Ready LLC (CBCR) which she founded in 2015. At CBCR, she helps students and their families navigate the college process guided by well-researched philosophies and a student-centered approach, equipped for even the most challenging of circumstances. Sarah also works as a district consultant shaping College & Career programming for grades K-12. Sarah has eighteen years of experience in Public Education and currently holds licenses in New York, Florida, and Massachusetts. She has taught English, Reading, Special Education, and served as a College & Career Specialist. (7-12). Additionally, Sarah has served as an adjunct professor of College Success, a National Honor Society Advisor, an Upward Bound Coach, a State Test Prep tutor, a newspaper editor, and a Cross Country coach.
