If you are looking for a way to support LGBTQ+ youth, GSA Link is having a fundraiser on Saturday, August 20. The Fabulous Family Drag Show will be held at Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company located at 81 Morton Street in Framingham from 6-8 p.m. Join Linked Mentoring and Kandi Dishe for a fun night of drag performances featuring Maddelynn Hatter and Violencia Exclamation Point!! All ages are welcome and proceeds will help support GSA Link and its Linked Mentoring program.
The suggested donation per ticket is $40. Light refreshments will be provided. Draft beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and food will be available for purchase.
GSA Link seeks to connect, empower, and inspire LGBTQ+ youth. “Today few programs currently exist to serve this specific population, even fewer connect LGBTQ+ youth with a mentor,” its website states. “With every new struggle, discovery, friend, and triumph, we aim to show LGBTQ+ youth that they deserve to be their most authentic selves, and that we’re here to celebrate them through it all.”
