The Northborough Garden Club is hosting a presentation, Climate Change and Its Effect on Plants on Tuesday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Northborough Free Library Meeting Room. This presentation will summarize global temperature trends, examine the factors that have contributed to the changes, and the implications of rising carbon dioxide levels for plant growth and flowering times.
The presenter will be Dr. Robert Bertin, an emeritus professor of biology at the College of the Holy Cross, where he also teaches courses in Environmental Science, Ecology and Field Botany.
