You are invited to the Northborough Historical Society’s upcoming program, Northborough’s Nineteenth Century Lyceum. The event will be held on Friday, March 24 at 7 p.m. at the Northborough Historical Society, 52 Main Street.
Kathleen Howland will outline the early days of adult education at the town’s Lyceum during the 18th and 19th centuries. The speakers, including renowned orators such as Lucy Stone and Frederick Douglass, presented educational, political and social issues.
This event is free and open to the public and masks are required.
