It’s not too early to start your holiday shopping and a great book by a local author is always a welcomed gift.
The Writers’ Loft will be hosting its 7th Annual Holiday Book Bazaar on Sunday, November 21 from 1-5 p.m. at its new space located at 43 Broad Street, Suite B404b in Hudson. Local authors will be onsite selling and signing copies of their books. Crafts will also be available for kids.
The Writers’ Loft is a 501(c)(3) non-profit writing community organization. It helps local writers foster their creativity, strengthen their spirit and grow professionally by providing them with quiet writing space, educational programs, opportunities to connect with supportive colleagues, and access to industry experts, as well as opportunities to give back to the greater writing community.
Meet Northborough resident and Selectmen Kristen Wixted, who is an author and a board member of The Writers’ Loft. She is the co-author of FRIENDS AND ANEMONES: Ocean Poems for Children, a fun and informative collection of original poems and art by New England authors and illustrators. The book is a valuable ecological and poetry resource for parents as well as librarians and teachers.
