The Town of Northborough will be conducting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, November 10. This is for Northborough residents only. A labeled waste carrier is needed in order to bring allowed materials to the DPW Garage at 190 Main Street between the hours of 9 a.m.-12 p.m. All information on acceptable and non-acceptable items can be found on the town’s website.
The charge for the waste carrier box is $10, which helps to defray costs of the program. Boxes will be available for pick-up on a first-come, first-served basis and a photo identification listing a Northborough address will be needed. The box distribution dates are:
Tuesday, October 30: 7 pm – 9 pm
Saturday, November 3: 9 am – 12 pm
Tuesday, November 6: 7 pm – 9 pm
Sharps will also be collected at no charge.
A styrofoam collection is also scheduled for this date in conjunction with the Northboro Junior Women’s Club.
