The Northborough Library located at 34 Main Street is hosting a Nature Journaling program on Saturday, June 25 from 10-11:30 a.m. The program is for adults 16 and up and will be led by art educator Marcia Waldman in the large meeting room.
Nature journaling is an age-old practice that has gained momentum in recent years as people discover the stress free benefits and joys of spending time outdoors. We invite you to try your hand at nature journaling through the Adult Summer Reading Program. Art skills are not required for nature journaling.
In this workshop, you will learn some tools to get started recording your observations about nature. To help prepare for the workshop, you may want to sit outside quietly and choose something to observe for five to ten minutes. Bring unlined paper or a notebook and a pencil or pen. You may bring your observations with you to the workshop, but it is not required. What is important is to have fun as you observe the wonders of nature.
