Local Photographer’s Work Receives Highest Score for Outstanding Portraiture

On February 10, 2019 a photographic portrait created by Susan Ogar of Susan Ogar Photography in Northborough was selected as the highest scoring portrait at the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts (PPAM) Annual Convention. Susan also received 3 Blue Ribbons for 3 Merit Images from PPAM.

Susan’s award-winning photography was on display at the PPAM Annual Convention which took place February 8 through 11 at the 1620 in Plymouth, MA. She is honored by peers and jurors for high-quality photography.

The winning portrait, The Farmer, was taken in Northborough and is a black and white portrait of local farmer, Kerrie Yellick of Yellick’s Farm Stand.  The portrait was taken as a personal project of Ogar’s. She hopes to share more about the people around town who make Northborough a special place. Susan’s original post and portraits featuring Kerrie Yellick appeared on Northborough Guide last September.
