When Zoe was born, we were told her head was turned to the right in utero. After delivery via C-Section, the nurse informed us that they had a difficult time having her move her head, but she did start moving it, and to note that her double chin was also lopsided. As time went on, Zoe would turn her head to the middle but never really turned it to the left. We asked the pediatrician about this and they said “We will keep an eye on it”. Since the Doctor could manually turn her head to the left, they decided it was nothing to worry about.
Zoe also had a tongue and Lip tie that was corrected in September of 2017. This is when we were referred to The Northboro Chiropractic Center, to help with the tightness of her mouth from the ties. After only the first few adjustments, we noticed that Zoe was finally turning her head to the right and staying at center for longer!
When Zoe first started Chiropractic care, we didn’t even think this was as much of an issue as it really was. Zoe started to become more comfortable playing on the floor and doing her tummy time, along with making nursing easier for both her and Mom.
Because of the Chiropractic care, Zoe has received from Dr. Karen, she has been able to be breastfed up to her first birthday, sleep more soundly and for longer period of time, and grow into the happy, smiling, Well-adjusted toddler she is today!
