The Watson Park Pollination Preservation Garden group will be hosting a virtual workshop – Native Plant Seed Collection, Cleaning and Packaging. The workshop, led by resident Gary Phillips, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 10-11:30 a.m. It is free and all are welcome.
REGISTER ONLINE to receive the Zoom link.
You will learn why native plants matter, when and how to collect seeds for propagation, how to clean them, and how to package them so they are ready for Winter Sowing.
Last winter, Phillips educated volunteers for the first Winter Sow. Those seeds were planted and are now part of the pollination preservation garden.
