Northborough Helping Hands Association (NHHA) is now accepting online applications for its 2024 scholarship. Applicants must be high school seniors graduating in 2024 and who reside in Northborough.
Additionally, the applicant must be pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited institution, including colleges, universities, or trade and vocational schools for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The application DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2024. Applications received after this date will not be reviewed.
NHHA coordinates programs to assist those in need in the form of holiday programs, medical equipment loans, emergency aid for special services, backpacks and school supplies, and winter coats and boots. These efforts are successful through the partnership with other town agencies, businesses, organization and the through generosity of the community.
The most recent holiday program provided a turkey with all the fixings to 125 households. The many generous donors to the Making Spirits Bright campaign ensured that gift cards were ready for children’s holiday wishes. Grocery gift cards were also donated to families.
