Dear Neighbor,
As we begin another incredible year at the Northborough Free Library, we find ourselves reflecting on
the countless lives that have been enriched through the power of knowledge and community. Thanks to
supporters like you, our library has become a beacon of inspiration, fostering learning, imagination, and
connection for individuals of all ages.
In the past year, we have witnessed the power that reading has to transform lives. Our diverse
collections empower children to discover the joy of storytelling, teenagers to explore new worlds
through literature, and adults to continue their lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Over 208,000 items were
checked out from our library in FY23- an all-time record!
Beyond materials, our workshops and programs offer every resident an opportunity to connect with
neighbors, improve their quality of life, and foster a love of lifelong learning. An increased focus on
health and wellness through an updated Community Resource Guide, CPR and Narcan training, and
wellness workshops has helped many of our neighbors become more prepared to handle emergency
situations, foster a sense of community resilience, and cultivate a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
However, our journey is far from complete, and we need your support to continue making a difference.
