Northborough Girl Scouts partner with Northborough Senior Center for Kindness Week

Northborough Girl Scout troop 65267 comprised of first graders spread kindness to the Northborough Senior Center by creating table centerpieces for the senior’s Valentine’s Day party held on February 14. The effort was in collaboration with Northborough’s Kindness Week to spread kindness and to “serve my community” per the Girl Scout law.

This is the second year the troop participated in the effort.

The Girl Scouts designed and decorated their own Valentine’s Day heart “flowers.”  During the project, the Girl Scouts discussed the importance of giving back to their community and the larger impact of kindness week across Northborough.

Northborough Girl Scout volunteers have served generations of girls for nearly 100 years. They believe that one girl can make a difference and together, girls can change the world.

Girl Scouts bring dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
