The Northborough Community Affairs Committee has coordinated its Kindness Week. The week is full of town-wide events, activities and initiatives to bring the community together in kindness and respect of all. You are invited to participate in the planned events or do random acts of kindness.

- PROCTOR SCHOOL: food drive for Northborough Food Pantry, Making cards for of appreciation for Northborough’s first responders, and making cards for Coleman House!
- PEASLEE SCHOOL: Collecting board books and toys for UMass NICU. Students are writing notes and creating pictures for residents at Whitney Place.
- NORTHBOROUGH FIRE: Coffee with Chief Parenti: Aero Coffee Roasters Monday, February 27 at 10 a.m.
- TOWN HALL: Coffee with Assistant Town Administrator Becca Meekins: Aero Coffee Roasters, Tuesday February 28 at 11 a.m.
- NORTHBOROUGH POLICE: Coffee Chief Lyver at Senior Center, Wednesday, March 1, at 1 p.m.
- NORTHBOROUGH SELECT BOARD: Coffee with Select Board Chair Mitch Cohen at C’est LaVie on Thursday, March 2 at 11 a.m.
- NORTHBOROUGH RECREATION: Drive for Sterling Animal Shelter
- Etka Dance Company FREE Bollywood Dance Workshop: Town Hall Gym Tuesday, February 28 at 5 p.m.
- MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes (10010 Shops Way) invites you to treat a friend to a half-priced milkshake Monday-Friday, 2-5 p.m. and to add your kindness notes on the Moodle Doodle.
Weather permitting, the week will end with Kindness in the Common on Friday, March 3, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Participants are invited to decorate a luminary bag with your Act of Kindness while enjoying a complementary cup of cocoa from Starbucks Northborough. Bag pick up at Northborough Rec or Coffee Hour Chats and dropped off at the event.
