The Friends of the Northborough Library, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Northborough Library Service Award is to be awarded to a graduating high school senior in recognition of their outstanding service to the Northborough Library. The award amount will be $500 this year.
Anyone who has been a library volunteer and who is now a graduating senior would be eligible for the award, and the application forms are available at the guidance offices of Algonquin Regional High School, Assabet Vocational School, AMSA, St. John’s, or at the Northborough Free Library. Inquire at the Circulation Desk or the Teen Room. The application deadline is May 15, 2023.
The recipient of the award will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Friends of the Northborough Library based on their volunteer work for the Northborough Library or the Friends of the Library for as long as they have been a volunteer. The volunteer service does not necessarily have to have occurred in the last year.
