The observance of Memorial Day is on Monday, May 30. It is a day to remember U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces.
Northborough will hold its ceremonies and parade starting at 12 noon at the Civil War Memorial at the Northborough Town Common. The parade will step off from this area at approximately 12:15 p.m. The route will be as follows:
- East on Rt. 20, turning left onto Hudson Street. Stop at the Tri-War Memorial at the corner of Hudson/Pierce.
- Continue down Pierce Street, turn right onto Church Street and stop at the WWI Memorial at the corner of Church/Whitney.
- Continue up Church Street, turn right onto Howard Street to turn right into the main drive of Howard Street Cemetery.
- The concluding ceremony will take place on the cemetery grounds.
