The OARS’ 33rd Annual River Clean up will be held on Saturday, September 14, 9 am – 12 pm (rain or shine).
Last year, more than 150 volunteers in eleven towns came out to clean up the Assabet, Sudbury, and Concord Rivers. Tires, furniture, computers, TVs, kitchen sinks, bicycles and more were piled high by the end of the morning. This year, volunteers will again work along all three rivers. The cleanup is a wonderful way to bring attention to the rivers.
Volunteers are needed and can call 978-369-3956 or email office@oars3rivers.org for more information.
Cleanup sites include Westborough, Framingham, Wayland, Sudbury, Northborough, Marlborough, Berlin, Hudson, Stow, Maynard, Acton, Concord and Billerica.
It will be a morning of rewarding work and an opportunity to meet fun people.
