If you have been saving up your plastic film, the Westborough Rotary Club’s Committee on the Environment has announced new collection dates for 2022 for its ongoing Trex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge.
The collection schedule at Kohl’s back entrance located at 7102 Shops Way in Northborough from 8-9 a.m. is
- February 12, 26
- March 12, 26
- April 9, 23
- May 7, 21
- June 4, 18
Please use 13, 33 or 55 gallon trash bags if you are bringing items to Kohl’s.
Alternatively, Trex bins are located at Central One Federal Credit Union, 40 South Street, Westborough (back parking lot) and YMCA, 4 Valente Drive, Westborough (near the climbing wall)..
Acceptable items include grocery bags, dry cleaning bags, cereal bags, bubble wrap, plastic shipping envelopes, Ziploc bags, ice bags, bread bags.
What can NOT be recycled? Brown mailers with bubble wrap inside, potato chip bags with metallic liners, hard plastics, and plastic with food residue.
