The annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive sponsored by Postal Service employees will be held on Saturday, May 13. Donations will benefit local food pantries.
To participate, residents are asked to fill a bag with healthy, nonperishable food items and place it by their mailbox for mail carriers to pick up. Please avoid glass containers and do not donate any expired items.
Stamp Out Hunger is the nation’s largest one-day food drive, with 1.82 billion pounds of food collected since it began in 1993 — including 41.2 million pounds last year.
