The Northborough Community Affairs Committee is pleased to announce the Second Annual Jack-O-Lantern Stroll! Jack-o-lanterns created by Northborough residents will be on display at the Town Common over Halloween weekend for all to enjoy. Entries will be lit Friday, October 29 and stay lit through the weekend. Members of the community will vote for their favorite designs.
Register online for a drop off time soon as only 100 jack-o-lanterns will be accepted. Only Northborough residents are eligible. One entry per family and participants are asked to make a suggested donation of $5 to the Northborough Food Pantry.
This year, the display will be inside the Common, for a true STROLL through the common to check out all the entries. Pictures of the jack-o-lanterns will be posted on the website, where you will be able to vote for your 3 favorite entries. The top three winners will receive prizes from local businesses.
Voting will open on Friday, October 29 and close on Sunday, October 31. Winners will be announced on Monday, November 1.
Battery operated tea lights for the Jack-o-lanterns will be provided. Jack-o-lanterns will be disposed of on Monday morning.
Please follow local and state COVID guidelines when viewing the display.
