Roller skate benefit for the Shifrin family

Family and friends of the Shifrin family are coming together to roller skate to raise funds for Brian Shifrin, a Southborough husband, father and friend who was diagnosed with ALS in 2017. The event will be held on Saturday, February 2 at Roller Kingdom located at 5 Highland Park in Hudson from 6-9 p.m.

Brian’s disease is progressing where he can no longer be without the assistance of costly care and medical equipment.

His wife Kristine (Wingate) Shifrin is a 1990 Algonquin Regional High School grad and works as a realtor for Andrew Abu’s office in Northborough. They have two young kids attending school in Southborough. Both Brian and Kristine have been involved in volunteering and giving back to their community. Now it is time for the community to support them.

Roller skate/In-line skate, race contest, 50/50 raffle, DJ, karaoke & snack bar are all part of the fun.

Suggested donation is $20 per kid or max $50 per family. Skate rentals are available for $3.00 or bring your own. All proceeds will go directly to Brian’s medical care & equipment bills. PLEASE help make this a #SHIFSTRONG night by bringing your friends and family.

Cash or checks can be made payable to Kristine Shifrin or pay using Venmo @shifstrong-Shifrin. Follow the event on Facebook.
