School News – November

Here are the school updates and news for the month ahead!  Happy November!

COVID-19 NEWS:

  • Northborough recently was added as a high risk community as a result of increased daily COVID-19 positive cases over a 14-day period. The town reports 11 cases in the last 14-day period.
  • There is no immediate impact to schools due to this designation and schools are not required to alter their reopening strategy. The Northborough/Southborough Regional District monitors and evaluates the status of the reopening strategy on a weekly basis because of the virus’s dynamic nature. For up-to-date information, view the District’s reopening page and follow the COVID-19 Dashboard on active cases, which is updated twice a week.  As reported on October 29, there are 3 active cases in the Northborough/Southborough Districts and currently there is no report of in-school transmission.

NOVEMBER LUNCH  MENUS: Don’t forget that all students can receive free lunch for the school year. Registration is required and pick up is on Mondays. The District website has additional information on this program.
