Two new surveys have just been released soliciting feedback from local parents of students. The Northborough/Southborough Regional School district is soliciting feedback regarding possible hybrid models for school re-opening in the Fall. Superintendent Greg Martineau says “We understand that both hybrid options have pros and cons and may require families to adjust their family and work schedules. Families’ input and feedback are essential as the District plans for reopening in the fall.” The survey can be found here.
The Northborough/Southborough School Start Time Task Force has also released a new survey. “The School Start Time Task Force is pleased to share with the educational community that it has identified a viable solution to having a later start time at ARHS. Before moving forward with a recommendation to the school committees, it is seeking input and feedback from educators, families, and community organizations. The Task Force is asking that you review the proposal and provide feedback via a survey.” The proposal would include only slight changes for Northborough elementary and middle schools, but would shift the ARHS schedule back by 40 minutes, enabling an 8AM start time vs the current 7:20.
