Great weekend weather ahead! Here are some reasons to get out and about. Enjoy it!
Friday, April 29
- Friday night fun is planned at the Zeh School Kidzfest.
- Sign up the kids for May’s library programs, including a special May the 4th Star Wars Hunt and a Mindfulness Workshop for Tweens & Teens.
- It’s not too late to help clean up Northborough. Sign ups are still available for the annual town cleanup weekend.
Saturday, April 30
- Don’t keep expired and unused prescriptions in your medicine cabinet, especially pain relievers, controlled substances and stimulants. These are the most abused drugs among teens. Drop them off at the police station for the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
- After you clean out the medicine cabinet, go through your bookshelves and donate to the library’s summer booksale.
- And then, it’s time to clean out your closets and donate gently used clothing and household textiles to support the senior center.
- Enjoy more family fun at opening day for Northborough Southborough youth baseball and softball.
Sunday, May 1
- Welcome Northborough’s newest Little Free Library at the Fitzgerald Community School.
- Happy 50th Anniversary to the Northboro Area Community Chorus. Join them as they celebrate at their spring concert.
And Don’t Forget to:
- Get to know your candidates running in the May 10 local election. Candidate statements will be posted as received by The Northborough Guide. Make sure you get out to vote–every vote counts!
- Stay updated on what is happening in the schools.
