The best way to find out what is happening at the high school is through Algonquin Regional High School’s award-winning student newspaper, The Harbinger. Run by a dedicated student staff, the paper covers all aspects of school news and prints six issues per year in addition to online coverage. For a donation of just $30, you can subscribe to The Harbinger and be on top of all the news at Algonquin, from upcoming plays and new clubs, to coverage of sports teams, to in-depth pieces about students, faculty members and important issues at the high school.
Gift subscriptions are availabled at the reduced price of $25 and is perfect for relatives and friends to keep up-to-date with your student’s school.
The revenue from subscription(s) will help pay for the various costs our staff needs to run the paper for the entire year – from printing costs and colored ink to pizza and educational field trips. Students need to raise approximately $7,000 each year to make the paper happen!
