The Algonquin Regional High School Cross Country Team will be offering a 5-week summer running race series. Races will take place on Wednesdays, July 18 – August 5. Registration will be at 6 pm each evening at the concession stands at the JV baseball field and the race will begin at 6:30 pm. The registration fee is $5 and participants are asked to bring exact cash.
The goal is to provide a means for the community to come together and share a love of running. It is open to runners of any town, age, and ability.
All races will take place at the high school as follows:
- July 18 – Standard Race, 5km
- July 25 – Predicted Time, 5km
- August 1 – Ekiden Relay, 1k, 3k, 2k
- August 8 – Age Graded Race, 5km
- Aug 15 – 2 Person 4 Mile Relay
- Aug 22 – Make up Rain Date
For safety reasons, no headphones, dogs, or baby strollers will be allowed in the races.

Prizes will be awarded to the top two overall male and female and first place age 40 and over.
