The Northborough Senior Center will be celebrating Valentine’s Day in a safe, creative and collaborative way! On Wednesday, Feb. 17 from 11 am-12 pm, Northborough Seniors will be able to drive up to the Senior Center (119 Bearfoot Road) to pick up sweet treat bags. These special bags will include delicious brownies and cookies from Main Street Pastries and a homemade valentine from a student in town.
Registration is required. Please call 508-393-5035.
In advance of this event, the Senior Center will also be collecting handmade valentines from students in Northborough. Families can easily drop off these handmade valentines at the Northborough Senior Center any time before Friday, Feb. 12 in the blue drop box at the front door.
“This is a true community collaboration integrating local business, the Northborough Community Affairs Committee, town staff, students and residents,” said Senior Center Director Liz Tretiak. “To see everyone rallying together to lift spirits and support other residents is amazing. Our drive-thru events have been a bright spot in this pandemic, we love seeing everyone’s faces and have a great time spreading the love.”
