The State primary will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 6 (remember no school on this day). You will be voting for Representative in Congress, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, State Auditor, Governor’s Council, State Senator, State Representative, District Attorney, Sheriff, County Commissioner (only in certain counties).
If you are registered as an independent, you can choose to vote in the Republican or the Democrat primary.
- Voter Registration Deadline: Saturday, August 27, 2022 Register to vote online.
- Vote by Mail Application Deadline: Monday, August 29, 2022
- Early Voting: August 27 – September 2. Details on dates and times can be found online.
- Election Day Polling Hours: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. at Melican Middle School.
The State election will be held on Tuesday, November 8.
