Following is the statement that was submitted by the candidate.
BC4T would like to thanks the Massachusetts Military Support Foundation/FOOD 4 VETS for providing BC4T with 300 boxes of food (each contains enough food for 2 people for 2 weeks) and the amazing group of volunteers who delivered and help unload them. This makes it possible to reach so many more veterans.
We will still be doing deliveries to our over 70 year old veterans, it’s always nice to have that personal connection. If you are a veteran, come down to the American Legion (402 West Main St, Northborough) and pick up a CARE package on Friday 1-4 and Saturday 12-2. You do need proof of Veteran status.
We are still purchasing food and goods for the CARE packages we are delivering, any and all donations are greatly appreciated. I believe we are in this for the long haul and every package that gets to a veteran is a life we impact in a positive way. Donation information is below.
