A true sign of fall is the Northborough Recreation Deptartment’s Build-a-Scarecrow Day.
it’s a great way for the entire family to spend the morning together on Saturday, September 29 (raindate is Sunday, September 30) from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Assabet Park, Route 135/South Street. Registration fee is $10/family.
Bring scarecrow clothing and accessories as desired; the scarecrow mounting straw, twine, and material for the face will be provided. Items will not be returned to you.
Completed scarecrows will be displayed along the fence of Assabet Park through Halloween. Only 40 can register so don’t wait.
