Faiths in Tune – An Interfaith Concert in Westborough

Central Mass Connections in Faith (CMACIF) and the Westborough Interfaith Clergy are co-sponsoring “Faiths in Tune” – an Interfaith Concert, on Sunday, November 7 (rain date Sunday, November 14), from 12-3 p.m. at the Bay State Commons1100 Union Street in Westborough, MA.

“The purpose of this concert is to demonstrate how much we have in common at a time when the world is in such fractured disarray,” said Mark Sebell, an organizer.

This outdoor event is free to the public and parking is free. Guests are encouraged to bring their own outdoor chairs.

“Individuals and small groups from 12 faith organizations – including Baha’i, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Shri Radha Krishna, Sikh, and Zoroastrian associations – will perform devotional songs, skits and hymns from their diverse traditions,” added organizer Shehla Eledroos. “Our guests will enjoy an amazing and unique experience.”

Central Mass Connections in Faith (CMACIF) is a network of individuals, places of worship and community organizations from many Central MA towns. Our purpose is to build bridges and friendships across cultures, based upon the core values of respect, curiosity, inclusivity, and open-mindedness.

The Westborough Interfaith Clergy exists to connect the various houses of worship within the town and community of Westborough. Leaders and clergy from the houses of worship meet throughout the year, and work together to help lead interfaith worship services and community celebrations.
